Intramural Sports
Open to all current Hamline students and employees, Intramurals provides a safe & fun environment for participants to develop and maintain an active, healthy lifestyle through involvement in competitive or recreational sports leagues, tournaments, special events, and open gyms.
IMLeagues
Campus Rec utilizes IMLeagues.com for schedules and announcements for all Intramural leagues and events, Fitness classes and offerings, and Rec Clubs information. Sign up using your Hamline user ID and password.
Getting Involved
For the majority of intramural activities, such as leagues and tournaments, participants will be required to register online. Some activities, such as informal/open recreation may not require participants to register. However, prior to participating all participants are required to complete the Hamline University Intramural Sports Waiver that can be found when registering for an IMLeagues account.
IMLeagues is a web-based system that enables intramural participants to create teams, manage rosters, view event schedules, track involvement, and much more. An IMLeagues account is required to participate in most intramural events. Accounts are free and secure; you will use your Hamline e-mail and password to log in.
Activate your IMLeagues Account
Go to the Hamline University IMLeagues Login Page and sign-in using your Hamline username and password.
Fill out the required fields on the registration form and click "complete".
You will be sent directly to your new account profile page.

They are quick to respond to any questions you have about navigating the website and utilizing the various features. Sign-up for Intramural Events
Log-in to your Hamline IMLeagues account.
Go to "Player Signup" at the top of the page and you will see 3 options to join a sport: Create Team, Join Team, and Join as Free Agent.
Create a Team (Team Captains)
Team Captains can invite members to their team by clicking on the "Invite Members" link on the team page. There are several ways you invite members to your team. Any invited members must accept the invitation in order to join your team. If they’ve already registered on IMLeagues: search for their name, and invite them. If they haven’t yet registered on IMLeagues: scroll down to the “Invite by Email Address” box, and input their email address.
Join a Team
There are four ways to join a team:
Go to "Player Signup", found at the top right of any page.
Accepting a request from the team Captain to join their team.
Finding the team and Captain name on a league page and requesting to join.
Going to the Captain's "playercard" page, viewing their team and requesting to join.
Join as a Free Agent
Intramural Free Agents are much like those you find in many professional sports. They are players that are simply looking to join a team. The Campus Rec staff will do their best to assist in connecting free agents with teams looking for players. It should be noted, however, that we can't guarantee that free agents will be placed on a team. You can list yourself as a free agent for any active sport. You will be visible to all members of the Hamline IMLeagues website and can request to join their teams, or post information about yourself so teams can request to add you to their team. Tip: On league pages for each sport, check for a "looking for players" icons below team names.
