The “Related Experience” section on a resume can take many shapes—and they all help you grow. This might include internships, fellowships, job shadowing, informational interviews, volunteering, community-engaged learning, undergraduate research, student employment, study away, student organizations, leadership roles, or summer and part-time jobs.
These experiences help connect what you're learning in the classroom to the skills and insights you'll use beyond Hamline. They can be for credit or not, paid or unpaid, short-term or long-term, full-time or part-time, during the academic year or summer. No matter the format, they’re all valuable steps in exploring your interests and shaping your path.
