Metro Watershed Partners is a coalition of more than seventy public, private and non-profit organizations in the Twin Cities metro area. Through collaborative engagement and outreach, the Metro Watershed Partners promote a public understanding that inspires people to act to protect water in their watershed. Since 1996, partners have cooperated through educational projects, networking, and resource sharing.
The Metro Watershed Partners meet regularly on the second Wednesday of each month from 9:30 to 11 am. At the meetings, members network, share information, and hear presentations on important topics of interest.
Location: Varies, we hold some meetings virtually on Zoom, and others in person at partner locations.
Contact: Sofie Wicklund (swicklund02@hamline.edu)
Subcommittees meet every other month during the regular Watershed Partners meetings, with the exception of the CARE committee, which meets separately.

The Metro Watershed Partners use mobilize.io as a listserv and platform for keeping members connected and informed between meetings. Individual members can use it to announce programs and events, share information, and ask for advice. The listserv also has a calendar of events and links to resources.
CleanWaterMN.org is the Metro Watershed Partners' website where we educate and inspire Minnesotans to protect local lakes, rivers, and wetlands. The site shares stories and information to encourage metro area residents to adopt water-friendly practices in their yards, home, and neighborhoods.
Visit CleanWaterMN.org to learn more about becoming a Metro Watersheds Partner. Current members can view and download resources and request exhibits for check-out.
All Watershed Partners members receive program implementation and support for the Adopt-a-Drain program, an MS4 public education and outreach program that engages residents to adopt storm drains to protect waterways and reduce urban flooding.
The Low Salt, No Salt Minnesota toolbox is an innovative program that builds community capacity to maintain winter safety while reducing chloride-based deicer use and its associated damages through relationships with local properties managed by resident boards.
the Watershed Partners have a long-standing partnership with the MPCA Eco-Experience Building at the State Fair. WSP creates and provides an interactive watershed education exhibit that reaches thousands of fairgoers each year at the Eco Experience Building.
