Canvas and other Course Resources for Students

Students can log in to Canvas at https://canvas.hamline.edu.

If you don't see your course on the dashboard, check under Courses>All Courses on the left navigation. If you still don't see it, check with your instructor. They may have not published the course or is not planning to use Canvas. 

Have issues logging in to Canvas or need to reset your password?

If you have trouble logging in to Canvas or need to reset your password, please contact the Central Service Desk at 651 523 2220 or email them at csd@hamline.edu.

What happens to your Canvas courses after the term has concluded?

Once an academic term has concluded, all courses in which a student was enrolled will move from the “Dashboard” to “Past Enrollments.” In courses that are in “Past Enrollments” status, students can still view their courses, course content, and their grades, but will not be able to submit any assignments. To find “Past Enrollments,” go to the far left sidebar in Canvas and click on “Courses.”  From there, click on “All Courses.” Scroll down to “Past Enrollments” to find all courses from concluded academic terms. 

If you can’t find a concluded course under “Past Enrollments,” it may be that your instructor has chosen to restrict access to the course. In such a case, please contact your instructor directly.  If you have any other questions, please contact csd@hamline.edu.
