Mr. Fichetola
Physical Education Class
George L. Hess School
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!
The Game Plan
Our mission is to ensure all students pursue a lifetime of physical activity and healthy choices! The physical education program is designed to teach students the skills they need to stay active, enhance fitness levels, and build teamwork skills through movement with their peers.
Kids Heart Challenge (Formerly Jump Rope for Heart) is an annual event held in the Hess School gymnasium. Students pledge to be physical active during the entirety of their PE class. This pledge acknowledges our support to the American Heart Association, who helps children with heart disease and/or heart conditions.
We ask for your help making sure that all students are prepared the day their class has Physical Education. Not only is dress code an important part of their grade, it is also crucial to the safety of the student and their classmates. Sneakers and pants are a requirement for participation. Additionally, any jewelry must be removed to ensure safety.
Remember to visit the events page for more information about fun activities we gave planned for this school year. Times and dates will be updated upon scheduling.
