Digital
Vinyl Sticker Designs:
Students will learn how to design their own stickers using software on the Chromebooks or iPad. They will create illustrations, patterns, or typography.
Utilizing the circuit vinyl cutter, students will cut out their designs and create custom stickers, blending digital design with physical creation.
Digital Collage Art:
Students will explore collage art using digital images, taking photos with the iPad or finding images online (with an understanding of copyright).
They will manipulate and arrange these images using free photo editing software on the Chromebooks, exploring themes such as nature, fantasy, or self-portraiture.
Stop Motion Animation:
Using the iPad and a stop motion app, students will create animated short films, using everyday objects or clay to tell their stories.
This project will develop creativity, storytelling skills, and patience as students learn about frame-by-frame animation.
Digital Painting and Drawing:
Students will use drawing and painting apps available for the iPad to create digital artwork.
Encouraged to experiment with different brushes, colors, and techniques, they will express themselves artistically through digital illustration.
3D Printing Art:
Introducing students to basic 3D modeling software on the Chromebooks, such as Tinkercad, they will design simple 3D models like geometric shapes or animals.
Using the 3D printer, students will bring their models to life, learning about additive manufacturing along the way.
Digital Storybooks:
Students will write and illustrate their own digital storybooks using the iPad and storytelling apps or software.
Creating original characters, scenes, and dialogue, they will combine their writing and artistic skills to produce engaging narratives, fostering creativity and literacy.
