Congrats NHMS Band and Chorus!

Our band and choral ensembles have had a very successful evaluation season!

The NHMS choral groups attended Large Group Performance Evaluation – 6th grade on March 7th at Brenau, 7th and 8th on March 13th at Jackson County High School.  Every group received Superior ratings in both Performance and Sight-Singing!  We look forward to showing you how our skills have progressed at our Advanced Ensemble Showcase on April 24th and our Spring Concert on April 29th!  For more information, contact Dr. Whelchel at ashley.whelchel@hallco.org

NHMS band students earned a mixture of I’s and II's for an overall II.

According to the GMEA LGPE Adjudication guidelines:

Superior (I): Outstanding performance. Worthy of distinction of being recognized as among the very best.

Excellent (II): Unusually good performance in many respects, but not worthy of the highest rating due to minor defects.  A performance of distinctive quality.
