School from Home

The Hall County School System designates two school from home days for high school students ONLY. These days are listed on the district school calendar for Wednesday, September 25 and Wednesday, February 26. On these days, teachers are required to report to work in their rooms. No scheduled meetings by the administration will take place on these days; thus, high school teachers can enjoy much-needed "catch-up" time. You may be required to submit lessons for your students electronically on Canvas.

In the event of school closures due to weather or other natural disasters, the HCSD may use school from home in an effort to preserve instructional time. You may be required to submit lessons for your students in an electronic format. The best platform for school from home is Canvas. We will use a Google site posted to our web-page that links to a Google folder. If you use Canvas for your school from home assignments, you will place a document there that says: "SEE CANVAS for Assignments". If you do not use Canvas, you should share the files with your students in the Google Drive folder. Please see Dr. Carey with any questions about school from home procedures.
