I am so excited to join the Chestatee family this year! This will be my 12th year as a professional school counselor. My previous 11 years were with Lakeside Middle School in Forsyth County. I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Middle School Education in Mathematics and Science. I received both my Master in Education and Education Specialist in Counselor Education-School Counseling from Clemson University. When I’m not at school, you will find me spending quality time with my family, including our three-year-old, one-year-old, and our dog, Asher. A recent hobby of mine is needlepointing, and I enjoy baking in my free time.

Hello! You can call me Ms. Zinger! This will be my 6th year as a school counselor at Chestatee Academy. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Jacksonville State University. I received both my Master of Education and my Specialist of Education in Professional Counseling from the University of West Georgia. I'm the lead adult advisor for the Sources of Strength program and am trained to lead our Dialectical Skills Groups (DSG). I also help with the Chestatee High School Marching Band as a Color Guard tech and choreographer. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and our 2 year-old son.
