The Bluff Bulletin
Ramsey's Reflections
It has been a GREAT start to our year! I want to express my sincerest gratitude for how this whole community has welcomed me into the "den". We have awesome students and faculty, and it has been so nice to see everyone back in the building. The administrative team shared our focus for this year, "Targeting Excellence," with all of our students at our class meetings. We want to continue chasing excellence in the classroom, in the athletic arenas, in our arts performances, and as we serve our community this year.
One look at our campus and it is no doubt we have an active community in so many ways. Our fall sports have kicked off with successes! Our fine arts have been working hard both ending the summer and starting the school year. Our clubs are getting up and going again, so there are a lot of ways to be involved here at the Bluff. If your students aren't sure how to get involved, reach out, and we can help them find their niche. The best high school experiences begin with getting connected!
Finally, thank you all for your flexibility as we re-learn our spaces. From splitting the front and attendance offices, to moving student parking, and to establishing a new traffic pattern from the middle school for drop-off and pick-up, we are adjusting. I wanted to say that we appreciate your help and patience as we figure it out.
My goal is to send out this web-letter at the end of each month to share our successes and provide upcoming events. and news around the campus. We kick off a new month tomorrow, so Happy September everyone!
Make good choices and Go Bears!
Mrs. Ramsey
Safety and Security
In an effort to keep our campus safe and secure, all students and adults in the building should be wearing an ID or badge. Parents can go to MyPaymentsPlus to purchase a second one if your child looses it. It is the expectation for and the responsibility of the students to wear their IDs daily.
You will notice our gates have been fixed and new ones added. We are locking the gates between the middle and high school, as well as the gates that lead behind the stadium and on Elizabeth Lane to help keep our campus secure.
