Bienvenidos!!

Mi nombre es Jhon Giver Cortez Perez, soy de Colombia y tengo más de tres años de experiencia enseñando inglés y español como segunda lengua. A lo largo de mi carrera he trabajado con distintas comunidades educativas, siempre con la convicción de que los lenguajes nos unen como seres humanos. Durante el año escolar 2025-2026 estaré en los colegios Everetts Elementary STEM Academy y Aurelian Springs Institute of Global Learning, donde llevaré a cabo proyectos diseñados para facilitar el aprendizaje de una segunda lengua. Mi propósito es motivar a los estudiantes a descubrir en los idiomas una herramienta para comunicarse, crecer y ampliar su visión del mundo. 

My name is Jhon Giver Cortez Perez, I'm from Colombia, and I have over three years of experience teaching English and Spanish as a second language. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse educational communities, always with the conviction that languages unite us as human beings. During the 2025–2026 school year, I will be teaching at Everetts Elementary STEM Academy and Aurelian Springs Institute of Global Learning, where I will lead projects designed to make second language learning more accessible and meaningful. My goal is to inspire students to see language as a tool for communication, growth, and expanding their understanding of the world.
