About Me – Mr. Ryan Kits Alferez
I am honored to serve as a 5th Grade Teacher at Inborden Elementary STEAM Academy. I hold a Bachelor of Elementary Education, major in Generalist, along with additional studies in Early Childhood Education, which has equipped me to teach and support learners from kindergarten through high school. Before joining Halifax County Schools, I spent over 13 years teaching in the Philippines across elementary, high school, and even college levels. I am now in my 4th year of teaching in Halifax County, continuing my passion for guiding young learners.
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that every child has the potential to achieve success when they are nurtured in a positive and supportive environment. My classroom is built on respect, encouragement, and high expectations, where students are challenged to think critically, grow in independence, and develop confidence in their abilities. I am committed to partnering with families to ensure that every student not only meets academic goals but also builds the character and skills needed for lifelong success.
