About HKM

HKM is an accredited public charter school, serving grades 5 -12 and making Hawaiian culture the foundation of our curriculum. The school is located in Makiki and serves students from around the island and of various ethnic backgrounds.

Hālau Kū Māna’s vision is to facilitate individual and community healing and empowerment by fostering lifelong learners who think, feel and act in ways that are pono. Students recognize strengths and address challenges as they seek positive, systemic change in their local, regional and global communities.
