2021-2022 Events

NOVEMBER 22-24, 2021

Makahiki is an important aspect of our Hawaiian culture. Hālau Kū Māna has a long tradition of celebrating Makahiki in a way that blends Hawaiian cultural practices with modern teaching techniques to create a unique learning experience for our haumana.

Although our celebration may look different than prior years, we continue to emphasize the importance of this learning experience. Please review the details of our 3 day Makahiki celebration and note when your child will be on-campus versus online.

Congratulations Keanu Flores Grade 11 Papa Lo'i for winning first place in the Localicious Recipe Contest held on Saturday, October 30, 2021!

Tree Decorating Contest:

Halau Ku Mana wins most original

Our Kula Ha'aha'a haumana participated in a christmas tree decorating contest sponsored by the Kahala Hotel and Resort. The Kahala Hotel and Resort invited Halau Ku Mana, Mary, Star of the Sea School, My Treehouse Club Ohana and Manoa Elementary School to decorate a 7 foot tree in their own sustainability theme.
