Welcome to Architectural Geometry!
This course will continue students’ learning in the field of geometry by diving deeper into the geometric principles that exist in the world around us. Some of the topics included are that students will look at patterns in nature, shapes in building structures both locally and around the world, investigate famous artists, and learn how to create fractals. This course will bridge the ideas of math, geometry, art and infrastructure and will be project based, with activities centered around hands-on building as well as local field trips.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Geometry and 9th grade Physics.
