The Graduate Outcomes Report for academic year 2022/23 includes all students who completed a degree, certificate, and/or diploma in the Fall 2022, Spring 2023, or Summer 2023 terms and responded to the Graduate Exit Form.
Data was collected using a first-destination survey, HACC’s Graduate Exit Form, in accordance with the “Standards and Protocols for the Collection and Dissemination of Graduating Student Initial Career Outcomes Information” published by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
The Graduate Exit Form is sent to all potential graduates via students’ Hawkmail account three weeks prior to the end of the term. Three follow-up emails and one text message are sent to all non-respondents to increase our response rate. The email includes a link to a Qualtrics survey which takes students approximately 2-3 minutes to complete. (See form questions below) Data is self-reported by our graduating students at the time of graduation. Students who do not graduate are removed from the results. If a student earns multiple awards in one semester they are only represented once. If they earn separate awards in separate semesters within the same academic year and they complete the exit form each semester, they are represented multiple times in the data.
