“When I first spoke with my advisor after a 5-year break I was thinking of the worst-case scenario. However, he explained how I could get it done in a reasonable way. I just tackled the classes one or two at a time. As my son gets older I want him to see that his mom finished something and didn’t give up!”
The average income for graduating students with full-time, directly related employment is within the $35-45K range.

"The staff at HACC played a major role in why I am successful. Even from the beginning when I was still living in Greece and had not moved to the States yet, my advisor was available to me and helped me get to where I am now."
When it comes to how related employment is to a student's program of study, female students are much more likely to graduate with a job directly related vs. males who are more likely to have an unrelated job.

Employment Relation: When graduating students indicate they are employed, we ask a follow-up question about how related their employment is to their program of study. The options include directly related, somewhat related, or not related at all.
Only 23% of female graduating students with a job related to their field were represented in the highest three income brackets as compared to 36% of male graduating students.
