Keaau Eligibilty Requirements

To participate in Keaau sports, your residential address must be verified. If your geographical location is classified that you should attend Keaau High School, you may be able to participate in Keaau sports. Not all students living with a Keaau zip code are eligible to participate in Keaau sports.

Students are NOT ALLOWED to just show up on the Keaau campus to play sports. 

You MUST inform me, Aaron Ferreira (HAAS AD), when you plan to attend conditioning or practices at Keaau. 

• Email me aaronferreira@haaspcs.net, the first day that you plan on attending conditioning, training or practice.

I need to notify the Keaau AD ahead of time to prepare for your arrival. If you don't notify me ahead of time that you will be attending practices or conditioning and you show up to the Keaau campus, the AD or Athletic trainer may refer you back to me and you would have wasted a trip. 

It has happened to multiple students this school year whose name(s) were not on my list or because the AD and AT were unaware of their arrival ahead of time.

The following items must be turned in to the Keaau AD or Keeau Athletic trainer:

1. Completed HAAS sports packet with concussion form, HIDOE consent form and physical forms

2. TWO forms of Proof or Verification of residency - Residential address on utility bill and rental/mortgage agreement

3. Your current report card

• They may require a current grade check report

   - I will email your report to you so you can take it with you 

It is highly recommended that you submit your paperwork to me, so you will have a copy for your records here at HAAS. This is in case you need a copy of your paperwork for other sports or extracurricular activities.
