Welcome to the HAAS Athletics Information page. On this page you will be able to register to participate in sports and you will find information regarding home school sports participation should HAAS not offer a particular sport.
All students interested in sports must complete an online registration form and complete a HAAS Sports packet which include parent/guardian consent forms, Concussion management form, HAAS Athletics Consent forms and sports physical. Packets are available at the HAAS Main office and during my office hours.

The Keaau Soccer team placed 2nd at the BIIF Soccer finals. This gave them a seat to represent the Big Island in the State competition on Monday, February 3rd. They challenged Castle High School from Oahu on the Keaau home field.Â
A Big Congratulations to Dane Ramey, Ty King, Joshua Alvarez, Gustavo-Adrian Ramirez, Evan Wedgewood and Kaiden Landry. Way to go boys. We are so proud of you all.Â
HAAS Senior, Ariana Kobayashi, and her Pahoa Girls Basketball team mates made history as they are the first Pahoa Girls Basketball team to make it to the State Finals.
The stte finals kicked off Tuesday, February 2nd until Saturday, February 8th. Good luck Ari and Congratulations!

Home School Information:
If HAAS doesn't offer a particular sport, the student must participate in sports at their Home School. The home school is determined by the student's residental address the school has on file for the student.
If the home school doesn't offer a particular sport, the student may not participate in the sport in question at the neighboring home school.
To determine a student's home school, please use the HIDOE home school finder.
Once you determined the home school, please click on the eligibilty requirements for each of the schools.

Each School has different requirements in order to participate in sports
HAAS would like to offer a shuttle van transportation service to the home schools of Pahoa High and Keaau High School for after school sports from Monday to Thursday.
