General Event Day Information

Shirts: As assigned according to your position
Pants: Solid black full-length pants (No jeans, capris, shorts, leggings, or athletic pants)
Shoes: Solid black closed toe and closed heel certified slip resistant shoes (no sneakers, no perforated shoes)
Grooming: Hair properly groomed (including facial hair); hair tied away from face, neck, and shoulders
Nails: All Team Member fingernails must be short (no more than one-fourth of an inch beyond the tip of the finger), clean and well-maintained. Fingernail jewelry and/or appliques, are not acceptable.
Front of House – For all food and beverage and retail Team Members, if nail polish is used, it must be well-maintained, e.g.no chipping, polish/enamel colors should be without jewelry and/or appliques.
Back of House – Nail polish is not permitted. Acrylic, sculpted nails, or artificial nails are not permitted.
Jewelry and accessories: Small rings, wedding sets, earrings, and a wristwatch are permitted. A medical alert necklace, bracelet, or ankle bracelet is acceptable. Loose fitting or long hanging jewelry is not permitted.
Rings – You may wear one small ring per hand on any finger, except a wedding set.
Earrings –Earrings must be clean and well-maintained. Earrings can be clip-on or pierced, and cannot exceed an inch in size (approximately the size of a quarter). Gauges cannot exceed ½ inch in size. Tongue rings or any other visible facial rings or body piercings are not permitted except one small nose stud.
Exceptions – Back of the House Team Members and any Team Member involved in food preparation (such as concessions Team Members) must follow the state/local Department of Health guidelines regarding acceptable jewelry in the workplace.
All bags and personal belongings should be placed in the black bin in the stand that is designated for personal belongings.
Serving Alcohol is an essential, but risky part of our business - it is a privilege but also a huge responsibility! It is important to remember that everyone plays a role in the responsible service of alcohol; Levy leadership, hourly Team Members, and third-party servers such as temps, subcontractors and volunteers.
TWO BEVERAGE STANDARD: Levy policy is that no more than two alcoholic drinks can be served to one guest at a time per ID. If a guest already has a drink present, he or she will only be allowed to order one more
IF YOU SUSPECT A GUEST IS INTOXICATED:
Alert your manager
Stop serving the guest any more alcohol and offer him/her water
Stay calm and do not confront or try to rationalize with intoxicated guest
THE SIGNS OF INTOXICATION:
Physical & Behavioral Changes: Slowed reaction time, compromised motor coordination, quick temper
Relaxed Inhibitions: Foul language, rude comments, increased volume, overly friendly/touchy
Impaired Judgement: Careless with money, drinking more/stronger beverages, making irrational or argumentative statements
Slowed Reaction Time: Talking or moving slowly, loss of concentration and focus
Impaired Motor Coordination
Personal Items - All personal items must be stored in the designated bin for in the stand
Drink Cups - Only drink cups with a lid and straw are allowed in stands. They must be on a lower work shelf only or in designated drink storage place
Hand Sink Usage - Hand sinks are for washing hands only. Do not dump any other products into hand sinks.
Soap, Towels, Trash Can - At hand sink. Must be present at each event.
Chemical Bottles - Properly labeled and stored. All unlabeled chemicals should be disposed of immediately.
Eating In Stands - Not allowed under any circumstances.
Proper Labeling - All open products must have a label with a date on it.
Uniforms - Team Members, Volunteers and Subcontractors must be in full uniform including hair restraints.
Sanitation Buckets - Must be present.
Thermometers - Must be present in all refrigeration.
Meal vouchers should be retrieved from the check in table (volunteers)or as you report to get your assignments from Gisele in room 115 (staff members) . Meal vouchers must be redeemed prior to 30 minutes before gates open. Levy staff, please remember to use the time clock or your ESS app to record your meal times.
