Grading/Class Schedule

Homework will be given On Monday's and Tuesday's.  Homework assignments should be taken home and placed in students red folders. 

Daily grades will consist of work completed in class.  This will include but is not limited to morning work, binder checks, Ready Reader participation, independent assignments, and group assignments.

Students will receive test and quiz grades for each units typically on Fridays. Additional test grades for the nine weeks may come in the form of signpost or other major classroom activities.  Students will be tested on the weekly passages and standards. 

Make-Up/Missed work will be required to be made up within one week of the absence.  After a week, zeros will be issued for any missing work.

Note: Minor discipline referrals will NOT start over each nine weeks, rather per semester.  This is a change from last year.

IDs MUST be worn at all times.  This will be strictly enforced this year.
