GWA Multi-Sport Kit

Dear Parents and Carers, The Physical Education department is excited to announce the launch of the new dry-fit multi-sport playing shirt and vest for students selected for our DASSA teams. The playing shirt is reversible and can be used across all sports, while the vests are suitable for athletics, aquathlon, volleyball, and basketball only. All students selected for DASSA teams are expected to wear the playing shirt or vest for matches and competitions against other schools. During term 1, we were still using a temporary playing shirt, during term two all players will be expected to wear the official Gems World Academy playing shirt. Each new shirt will feature your child’s name and a randomly assigned number, while the vests will have a number only. Please note that parents are responsible for ensuring the correct spelling of their child’s name, as no changes can be made after submission. Additionally, only given names will be accepted, no nicknames will be allowed. Sign Ups for U11, U13, U15 World School Games Multi-Sports Competition

22 – 25 January 2025

We are excited to announce that sign-ups are now open for the upcoming World School Games Multi-Sports Competition in January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to represent our school in swimming, football, and athletics. The competition is open to students in the U11, U13, and U15 age groups. To be considered for the squad, students must demonstrate a good level of performance in all three sports. The entry fee per student is 700 AED. How to Sign Up
