STEM Bins are portable containers with technology tools to enhance a flexible learning environment. The tools provide opportunities to discover, explore, create, invent, and share. The bins can be checked out through the librarians but are maintained by the Academic Services Department.
Each bin contains a variety of activities that could be used in your classroom to support STEM integration in your classroom. Some of the activities/devices need an iPad to work properly and those can be checked out from the district instructional technology specialist. Inventory sheets are provided to monitor the use and care of the items.
See the information on the Checkout Procedures tab for detailed information on this, but essentially, you will work with the district instructional technology specialist to arrange check-out dates.
Use the information provided in the bin and from this website to get started. Encourage students to learn along with you. Watch the provided videos and access the manuals. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact the district instructional technology specialist.
