Filipino citizens, whether residing in the Philippines or abroad, may apply for the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) if they satisfy all the following minimum requirements:
1. The applicant must be at least twenty-three (23) years old at the time of application.
2. The applicant must have completed a secondary school program (evidenced by a high school diploma) or have a result of the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) or Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency (ALS A&E;) certification showing that the individual is qualified to enter college.
3. The applicant must have at least five (5) years of aggregate work experience in the industry related to the academic degree program or discipline for which equivalency of learning is sought. Additionally, the applicant may submit documentation of relevant training programs and other proof of formal, non-formal, and informal learning, as may be required by the deputized higher education institution — including National Certificates or Certificates of Competency issued by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
