Digital Art 1 (year long)
This is an advanced art class that requires Intro to Art as a prerequisite.
Ever wanted to learn how to make art on a computer and learn 21st Century skills that you can apply anywhere? Interested in graphic design and marketing? What about designing websites and logos? This class will teach you how to use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and more. You’ll get to explore career opportunities and create a professional portfolio. This class is for the artist that is interested in detail, enjoys technology, and complex tasks. Student interests and ideas welcome!
Digital Art 2 (year long)
This is an advanced art class that requires Digital Art 1 as a prerequisite. This class counts at HCC Graphic Design dual credit.
In Digital Art 2, you will build on the skills you learned in Digital Art 1. Students will develop advanced skills with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as a variety of other Digital Art industry standards. Students will advance through a college level Graphic Design textbook and create a cumulative portfolio of professional quality work. This class is for the advanced student that might be going to college for graphic design or digital media.
