Nicole's Analysis

Stacy

Feels neglected so she cheats on him
She wants to work because she worked hard to graduate but cant because the kids
He's the one working and providing so she feels frustrated
She thinks the husband is just whining
Feels her cheating is not the problem

Charles

Wants to fix the relationship even though she cheated on him
He is really committed an in love with Stacy
Very passive
When he gets home he is tired from working so he doesn't want to get intimate with his wife

Councilor

Theres both sides to the problem and they are both at fault for the relationship not working
The Kids are probably the main reason why they are together
If they are both committed they can fix it
Stacy probably doesn't want to be in this relationship as much as Charles

Stacy

She cheats on Charles and thinks that, that is not her fault
She feels that she hasn't done anything wrong and its all the husbands fault
Charles provides everything and this makes Stacy mad because she can't follow her dreams and do whatever she wants to do.

Doesn't seem willing to make things work

Charles

Very patient with his wife
Willing to make things work
Doesn't want to fight
Even though his wife cheated on him, he stills loves her.
Starts feeling depressed and feels like he is doing his beast to keep this marriage

Counselor

Seems pretty open to every opinion
She doesn't go to anyone's side, so she supports everything
She knows how to talk so noone gets mad.
She knows how to be in other people's shoes.

Clarisa's Analysis

Stacy

Has been holding in her anger for a long time.
Reacts negatively to everything that her husband sais.
She doesn't communicate properly with him.
She expects him to read her mind.
She feels useless and finds it unfair that her husband can pursue his career and she cannot.
Yet they also agreed with that.
For the Stacy it is very difficult for her to say that she still loves her husband
She probably doesn't or is stubborn.
But again she brought it amongst herself.
She is just frustrated
Very agressive manner of speaking

Charles

Still willing to put forth effort towards the somewhat broken relationship
Seems to be getting exhausted
He still loves her
He doesn't understand where her anger comes from.
He cannot read her mind.
He still has hope
He is confused
Her cheating barely affected him
His focus is on fixing the relationship

The Counselor

The counselor shows no bias to either Charles or Stacy
She is understanding
She does not give personal experience
She does not judge
She calms the situation
Mostly asks open ended question
She causes them to argue in a healthy way

Compare and Contrast

The perspectives between Nicole, Bruno and Clarisa are similar in general, we all think that Charles is the one trying to fix the relationship, that Stacy is angry and that the councilor is not biased, hopeful for the relationship and open to both points of view. Even though our perspectives pretty similar, we all interpret everything differently.
