Feature Releases

Workday delivers two large updates, called Feature Releases, per year, in addition to smaller ongoing improvements. Feature Releases may include:

• New features

• Enhancements to existing features, including user interface improvements

• New web services or updates to existing web services

• Bug fixes

Schedule:

• Current Feature Release: March 9, 2024 (2024R1)

• Workday will be unavailable Saturday:

  • September 21, 2024 (2024R2)

  • March 15, 2025 (2025R1)

  • September 20, 2025 (2025R2)

• from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. (Eastern Time), for a maximum 3 hours, for updates. This affects our production tenant.

Latest Feature Release News

• New features and update information will be available approximatly five weeks before each Feature Release.
