Housing Accommodation Petitions

If you’re requesting a housing accommodation due to a disability, you’ll need to submit a petition to the Accommodation Committee. Possible housing accommodations include:

• Single rooms

• Off-campus housing

• Emotional Support Animals (ESAs)

• Private bathrooms

• Meal plan adjustments

• Other specific housing needs
  
  

This process is separate from Residential Education and Housing deadlines. Keep in mind that if an accommodation is approved after the housing selection period set by ResEd, options may be limited.

Why this matters: Submitting your petition early gives us the best chance to match your approved accommodation with the right housing option before the semester begins.
