Buses unload at 7:45 am
Students are marked tardy after 7:55 am
Dismissal for buses and pick up is 2:05 pm
What to know about morning drop off this year:
Drop off begins at 7:30 am.
There will be an adult monitor in the car loop at the top of the crosswalk at 7:30 am. DO NOT send your child into school until the monitor is at the top of the crosswalk.
Families should pull up to the top of the car loop, and the adult monitor on duty will help your child exit the car.
Please do NOT have your child exit the car until the adult monitor indicates it is ok.
All students should enter and exit the car on the passenger side AND be able to unbuckle themselves from the car. If students cannot do that, please park your car in the lot and walk your child to the crosswalk.
There is NO PASSING in the car loop.
If the car loop is backed up, there are parking spots available in the parking lot. Please exit the car with your child, and have them enter the walkway along the edge of the car loop so that your child can cross with the monitor at the crosswalk.
What to know about afternoon pick up this year:
Afternoon pick up will begin at 2:05 pm.
Cars should line up along the right perimeter of the parking lot.
Each family that indicated that they are going to pick up regularly on the 2025-26 Afternoon Dismissal Form will be given a car tag. Information to get a car tag will come out in August via school messenger. You can fill out that form to get a car tag here.
As cars pull up, dismissal monitors will radio in for students, and staff will send students out.
Cars should exit up the next row in the parking lot (and NOT pass behind buses in the bus line).
Once car tags arrive, we will send them home with your child. Please be sure to put the car tag in the car window of the vehicle picking your child up, as well as place the pick up tag on your student's backpack.
If you do not normally pick up, but need to for an appointment or other circumstance, please send a note to your child's teacher in the morning, or call the front office by noon. Teachers don't always have time during the day to check their email, so if you don't email before the start of school, it is best to call the office at (518) 355-7930 to let the office know about the change.
