October 2025
Dear Families,
What an amazing start to the school year we’ve had! Our halls are buzzing with laughter, learning, and the joy of new friendships blossoming every day. It’s been wonderful to see our students playing, exploring, and growing together during these first months of school.
At the same time, it is hard to believe that we are well into the month of October already. October brings out many exciting events and Lynnwood traditions such as the PTA bookfair, the Apple Fun Run, 4th grade Longhouse week, the PTA Monster Mash, and our annual Veterans Day Share and Celebrate. With all of this to look forward to, I am confident that the reminder of the Fall months will be productive and exciting.
As we move through October and into November, our school community will focus on important themes that help shape strong character, such as integrity, bravery, kindness, and gratitude. These values guide us not only in our classrooms but also in how we treat one another every day. We encourage you to talk with your children about these themes at home and celebrate the ways they demonstrate them at school.
As a reminder, we have a few important dates you will want to make note of as we move through October and head into November:

“The time is always right to do what is right.”
Sincerely,
Jacqulyn Dignum, Principal
