Filtering at Home

Guilderland Student Chromebooks do not need to be filtered at home since the filters that are in place at school will carry over with each chromebook, wherever the chromebook goes. In other words, your child will have the same filtered, secure internet browsing experience anywhere he/she goes when using the GCSD issued chromebook.

If you want to add your own filter at home for your other personal computers in your house, you can use Open DNS.

Once configured you can tailor your settings as seen below:
