College Admissions in the Covid -19 Environment

Duke University is pleased to offer a 60-minute zoom meeting visit for SHS students & parents

College visits are on hold, standardized testing is on hold and many colleges have gone test-optional. High school students have been attending classes online and many activities are curtailed or cancelled. What will the admissions process look like for the class of 2025 from Duke’s perspective? What does Duke offer, what are some of the highlights of a Duke education and what options are there to pay for a Duke education?

Steve McLaughlin, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Admissions at Duke University will address these topics, as well as discuss what highly selective schools look for, how decisions are made, and how to best prepare at this stage of your high school career.

Registration prior to the event is required by going to: https://admiss.ugrad.duke.edu/register/SunnyslopeHSV
