The purpose of the Sunnyslope High School Student Career Center is to provide students with information in college admissions, financial aid, military interest, career exploration, career/job skills, and the general post-secondary education planning process.

February 2020

Sunnyslope had a College & Career Fair for our Junior & Senior Students. We had an excellent Keynote Speaker, Angela DeMarse. All of the students were also able to pick a customized presentations such as the Medical Field, Marines or Cosmetology to name a few. Last but not least the students were able to meet with recruiters from colleges, military and hiring companies in the gym.


ASU: More to Explore Week

Welcome to More to Explore Week 2020! This week, over 100 virtual sessions will cover topics ranging from admission and application processes to finding a major and engaging with the academic colleges, as well as sessions with current Arizona State University students so you can find the campus that fits you best. By the end of the week, you'll have all the information you need to make applying to college a successful and exciting journey.

All sessions are live-hosted and held through Zoom, available on your desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Take a look at the offerings HERE!

US Army Virtual Leadership College Fair

The first ever Virtual College Leadership Fair allows students from across the nation to tour over 100 college Universities and learn more about admissions, life on campuses and Army ROTC programs. The event will be held on Airmeet which will allow users to see virtual tables and have complete control to sit down at different University tables. The event focuses on informing students about Army ROTC and the opportunity to earn 100% free tuition scholarship for a university of their choice before you event leave High School. Guest Speakers, which include former students, current students, and Active Duty officers telling their story on why they choose this amazing path in their lives. RSVP

Join admission representatives as they walk you through each section of the NAU application, and receive helpful information and assistance for completing your application. (Register here for the workshop, to receive your zoom link)
