If you’re aiming for an elite university, the best thing you can do is get involved! Join a club, play a sport, or be part of student council. Volunteer in your community—especially somewhere that connects to what you might want to do in the future. Work hard in school, get good grades, and challenge yourself with classes that push you. Find a mentor; a teacher, coach, or manager who can support you and write you a great reference later.
Build good habits: show up on time, dress appropriately, and keep your word. Doing these things will help you discover your passions, stand out on applications, and set you on the path to a career you’ll love!
