West Hills Cross Country
Welcome to the West Hills CC website
Practice is Monday thru Friday and begins @ 3:00 pm till about 4:30 or 5:00 pm. Meet at the track. Bring water with you and make sure you stay hydrated by drinking water throughout the day all week.
This Friday, Sept. 22, we are running the Southbay Cross County Invitational at Rohr Park in Bonita (Map Below.) ALL runners will be attending this race (except our injured runners, but they are more than welcomed to attend.) We will be taking a bus from school @ 1:40 pm. ALL runners must get there by bus. You may go home with your parents after the race or get back in the bus. We will have a short day this Friday, therefore athletes will have plenty of time to go to the gym and change into their running gear. Look at the following schedule for race times and the race you will be running.
Parents: try get there before the first race because parking can get a little tight. Also, make sure you park legally because the Chula Vista Police Department and Park Rangers will be ticketing anyone parked illegally in the park. Parking is free.

We will be kicking off our Snap! Raise campaign next week. Snap is an online donation campaign that allows our program to receive donations from our networks and supporters. Snap uses the power of email, text, and social media with a safe, fun and interactive approach. All we ask is that each parent/guardian help their student gather 20 or more email addresses of their biggest fans by Sept. 5. Bring your uniform (for the video) and your telephone with the email list on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
***Your contacts are strictly private and protected, and never sold or shared***
Snap Fact Overview:
1. Safe and Protected - Snap! Raise is the safest online donation campaign available. All data is private and never redistributed. Your student’s information on the Snap page is less detailed than what would be on a team website roster.
2. Online Donation Platform - Reach potential donors via email, social media, and text to ask them to support our program and visit the page, where they can seamlessly donate.
3. Email Strategy - All supporters will receive a receipt for their gift that is tax deductible, included with a personalized thank you from the student. There are three reminder emails sent to donors, with an option to unsubscribe.
4. Network - Snap’s platform and process is what makes their campaigns so successful. It allows an extensive reach across communities by providing options to connect with multiple donors and their social networks, maximizing our raising efforts.
You can email our snap rep Dylan firstname.lastname@example.org should you have any questions.
