1. SLIDE CHECKLIST

• Slide 1: Title Slide (what you researched)

• Slide 2: Why is this topic important to you? Why did you pick this topic?

• Slide 3-4: What do you want us to know? What did you learn? What surprised you?

• Slide 5: Works Cited slide - TEST ALL YOUR LINKS!

2. CONTENT CURATION

• Share your knowledge.

• What are some of the best things you learned?

• What are some of the most interesting findings? 

• What questions are you left with?

3. SLIDE DESIGN

• Create gorgeous slides.

• The less text per slide, the better. Use bullets. 

•  Use MULTIPLE graphics. At least three or four throughout.

•  Keep slide design consistent.

•  Proofread slides for spelling/grammar issues.

4. PRACTICE PRESENTING

• Communicate your enthusiasm.

• Know your stuff. Notecards are okay.

• Don’t just READ the slides. Talk to us.

• Do a slate at the beginning and say thank you at the end.

• Rehearse your presentation ON ITS FEET.
