Valhalla High School Health Careers Pathway
Student and Parent Agreement
The VHS Health Careers (Medical) Pathway is a three-course pathway designed for students that are interested in health and medical fields. Students take specialized science courses with embedded health and medical content; the course sequence includes Biology & Community Health, Medical Chemistry, and Honors Physiology. Students in the Health Pathway gain exposure to health and medical careers through guest speakers, industry tours, job shadows, volunteering, and internship opportunities.
Each school year the Valhalla Health Pathway Teacher Team will evaluate each student’s overall performance. It is up to the discretion of the teacher team whether or not each student continues on in the Pathway based on student achievement.
