What is 211?

211 is a service for all San Diego County residents. Just call 211 for all of your resource questions. If you’re outside of San Diego County you can still contact 211 at (858) 300-1200 or email them at resourcecenter@211sandiego.org.

They can connect you to everything from food and shelter to mental health. It may be helpful to write a list of all of the resources you need before making the call. Make sure to have a pen and paper in front of you before calling so that you can write down the information. If you would rather mail in an inquiry, simply use this address:
