Granite Hills Medical Pathway
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
The Granite Hills High School Medical Pathway is an honors-level science pathway designed for students interested in careers in the health/medical field. The Medical Pathway includes career research, job shadows, CPR training, internships, guest speakers, and field trips. We are part of the Grossmont Health Care District information is below.

How to Join the Medical Pathway
To become part of the medical pathway you must apply. This is normally done at the beginning of the second semester of your biology class. In most cases, this is during your freshman year. There are always exceptions so please contact Dena Hirt at dhirt@guhsd.net with any questions.
To be eligible:
You must be in good standing and have a B or better in your biology course.
After you apply you will be given an agreement that you and your parents or guardians must sign. when this agreement is returned you will be invited to join a Schoology group where you will find information about opportunities to participate in both community service and medical hours.
