At Granite Hills High School our program is a little different. We require community service and 4 years of science. Our program includes Community Health Biology at college prep or honors level, Community Health Chemistry at honors level, IB Biology Year 1/Anatomy Physiology, and IB Biology Year 2/ Molecular Biology.
The extra Medical Hours and CPR Certification are not a requirement for completion they are things that you can do to earn a higher status from the district.

Complete all four Science Classes (Community Health Biology, Community Health Chemistry, IB Biology Year 1/Anatomy Physiology, and IB Biology Year 2/ Molecular Biology) with a 2.5 GPA.
Complete 40 hours of Community Service throughout your 4 years of High School
Complete all four Science Classes (Community Health Biology, Community Health Chemistry, IB Biology Year 1/Anatomy Physiology, and IB Biology Year 2/ Molecular Biology) with a 3.0 GPA.
Complete 40 hours of Community Service throughout your 4 years of High School
Complete 15 Medical hours
CPR Certification

Community Service can be any community service hours as long as you are giving of your time to improve the community whether in public or on campus. You may also use any hours that you performed for another club or class.
Medical hours are any hours spent volunteering in a medical facility, performing in an internship or job shadow hours.
