I can change the world.

When grouping up little girls, boys, children always get the question “what do you want to be when you grow up?”

“An astronaut”

“A firefighter”

“A doctor!”

All of which can change the world, but what do I want to be?

A mental health therapist

I want to make the world a better place even when it seems impossible. Bring peace, love, and hope.

because I can change the world.

That’s the theme for the 2021-2022 Reflections Art Program which has been bringing the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969.

California State PTA and its members, families and kids are on the forefront of this amazing program which increases

community awareness of the importance of the arts in education.

This year, El Cap PTSA is offering art scholarships for our school's winners!

1st place - $50 art scholarship

2nd place - $35 art scholarship

3rd place - $20 art scholarship

All El Capitan students are invited to participate and submit original artwork in the following areas:

Dance Choreography

Literature

Photography

Film Production

Music Composition

Visual Arts

Special Artist Division

Students who identify as having a disability and may receive services under IDEA or ADA:

Section 504 may enter in the Special Artist Division or grade division most closely aligned to their functional abilities.
