The re-signing period (June 1–June 26) is a designated time when Jr. Gryphons may invite current athletes to return for the upcoming season (13U–18U, 6v6 teams).

No, Jr. Gryphons Volleyball Association does not require a deposit to accept a re-signing offer.
Athletes who are not offered a re-signing opportunity can still join Jr. Gryphons by participating in the Open Commitment Period or attending September tryouts.
No. Once an athlete accepts a re-signing offer, they are not permitted to attend evaluation sessions, open gyms, or tryouts with other clubs for recruitment purposes.
The Open Commitment Period runs from July 1 to September 4 and applies to athletes from TLS through 18U divisions. This period allows athletes to indicate their intention to join a club for the upcoming season.
During this time, athletes can commit to either a new club or their previous club ahead of tryouts. Jr. Gryphons will communicate offers directly through the coaching staff, typically via email.
Yes. The Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) strongly recommends that all commitments be provided in writing to ensure clarity and transparency for both families and clubs.
No. All clubs must follow the timelines set by the OVA. Any club that places pressure on athletes to make decisions outside of these guidelines may be subject to penalties.
