Development Beach program INTRO to volleyball (Age 6 to 10)

The development beach volleyball programs are available to athletes wishing to learn and/or continue development of beach volleyball skills. These programs will provide athletes with skill training and development, as well as the coaching and guidance needed for playing beach volleyball.

No previous volleyball experience required.

All spots are limited. Athletes are encouraged to sign up for programs well in advance of the scheduled start date.

Cost is $360 per player

Athletes in this program will play twice a week for the duration of the program on Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:00 pm and Thursday from 6:30-8:00pm at the University of Guelph, from  June 9th - August 22th (10 weeks No practice week of June 29 - July 5)

Development Intermediate (age 10+)

The Development Intermediate volleyball program is available to athletes wishing to continue development of beach volleyball. This program is for athletes with previous development volleyball experience, High school volleyball athletes and young rep athletes.

This program will provide athletes with skill training and development, as well as the coaching and guidance needed for playing beach volleyball.

Previous volleyball experience is REQUIRED for this age group.

Cost: $360 per athlete.

Athletes in this program will play twice a week for the duration of the program. Practices are held at the University of Guelph Beach Courts Thursday/Friday 4:30 to 6:00 pm, from June 9th - August 22nd (10 weeks. No practice week of June 29 - July 5)

House League Beach Program

The House League Beach Program is available to player with previous volleyball experience, who want to have fun an play the game. The focus will be on game-play with some drills.

Previous volleyball experience is REQUIRED for this age group.

All spots are limited. Athletes are encouraged to sign up for programs well in advance of the scheduled start date.

Cost is $150 per player.

Athletes in this program will play once a week on Fridays at the University of Guelph volleyball courts from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, from June 9th - August 22nd (10 weeks. No practice week of June 29 - July 5)

What do I bring to practice?

1. Sunscreen

2. hydration fluids, - water/gatorade

3. Some sort of socks to keep the athletes feet cool when the sand is hot.

WEATHER POLICY

Beach Volleyball is played in all types of weather, except for thunder/lightning. It is not unusual to have heavy rainfalls, hot weather. We will take heat/hydration breaks if necessary. If there is lightning/thunder we will wait the required time before restarting. No refunds for practices missed due to weather conditions.
