What is my WorkKeys Curriculum account?

Your WorkKeys Curriculum account information is as follows:

Username: GDOE email address
Password: workkeys

Is it required to do the WorkKeys Curriculum and take the WorkKeys Assessment?

In accordance with GDOE's State Strategic Plan 2020 - Goal#1, all GDOE students will graduate from high school prepared to pursue a post-secondary education on- or off-island or to assume gainful employment within the public or private sector .

GDOE selected the ACT WorkKeys Curriculum and Assessment to help students build and measure essential workplace skills to provide students the advantage after high school when looking for a job.

This program also aligns with Guam Public Law (P.L. 31-524), which requires a mandatory skill assessment for Government of Guam employees. Students who participate in this FREE opportunity at GDOE will not need to pay for the testing fee at Guam Community College.

How to search for student's WorkKeys Curriculum account and reset their password?

This will require assistance from one of our WorkKeys coordinators.

How to view student's WorkKeys Curriculum progress?

To search for a student and view their progress:

  1. Sign in to your WorkKeys Curriculum account.

  2. On the left column, select Students .

  3. Next, click on the Select Course drop down menu and select one of the following:
    -WorkKeys Curriculum Applied Math Levels 3-7
    -WorkKeys Curriculum Graphic Literacy Levels 3-7
    -WorkKeys Curriculum Workplace Document Levels 3-7

The display will list all the students assigned to this course.

  1. Use the search bar to look up your student by last name, first name or by GDOE email.

  2. Once selected, the WorkKeys Curriculum will display a breakdown of the student's progress (i.e., Placement Quiz & Level Quiz scores)

How do you know if a student is eligible to take the WorkKeys Assesment?

As of GDOE School Year 2019-2020, students must meet the following criteria in order to take the WorkKeys Assessment:

  • Must be a Senior (Cohort Year 2020 or earlier)

  • Must not have history of taking the WorkKeys Assessment.

  • Scored a Level 4 or higher on all three WorkKeys Curriculum courses placement quiz
    -Applied Math Levels 3-7
    -Graphic Literacy Levels 3-7
    -Workplace Documents Levels 3-7

When can students take the WorkKeys Assessment?

In compliance with the Governor's Executive Orders with regards to Social Isolation Measures amid the COVID-19 pandemic, all WorkKeys Assessments have been postponed until the summer, with priority for graduating seniors. Check in with your school for assessment dates.

What is my Choices account?

Is it required to participate in the Choices activities?

In accordance with Guam Public Law College and Career Readiness Act (CCaRe ACT), students will be able to effectively identify, select, plan and prepare for a career of choice and/or the pursuance of a post-secondary education.

GDOE identified the Choices 360 Program as a tool to assist schools in compliance of this law. This also fulfills GDOE's State Stragetic Plan 2020 that all of GDOE students are to graduate from high school prepared to pursue post-secondary education on- or off-island or to assume gainful employment within the public or private sector.

How to search for student's Choices account?

To search for a student:

  1. Sign in to your Choices Professional Account

  2. Click on the Students & Groups tab

  3. Use the search bar to look up student by last name, first name or student ID number.

  4. Once you've selected the student, click on the View username or reset password link on the right hand column under Username And Password.

This will show you your student's Username for their Choices account.

How to reset student's password?

To reset student's password:

  1. Search for the student under the Student & Groups tab

  2. Select student's account to view their portfolio

  3. Click on the View username or reset password link on the right hand column under Username And Password.

This will show you your student's Username for their Choices account and the option to reset the student's password.

How to view student's activity progress?

To view student's progress:

  1. Search for the student under the Students & Groups tab.

  2. Select student's account to view their portfolio

  3. Click on the GDOE SY19-20 Grade (Cohort) link below the Career & Planning Icon.

This will show if the student has completed their activities assigned to them.

How to create a report that shows all my students progress?

To create an Assignment & Curriculum Tracking Report:

  1. Select the Reports tab.

  2. Click on the Create a New Report link.

  3. Under Tracking Reports, look for Assignment & Curriculum Tracking Report and click on it.

  4. Next choose your criteria, and/or group (if any). The selection is based on Grade Level & Cohort Year.

  5. Select Continue and Create Report.

Your report will display a bar graph, a table showing the count and percentages of completed activities. It will also show the roster of students associated to this criteria.

How to access my Student Companion Account?

The student companion account is the student perspective view for educators. Educators use this to navigate the student's Choices website to better facilitate their students.

To access the Student Companion Account:

  1. Sign in to your Choices Professional Account

  2. Click on the Choices 360 logo on the right.

This will open a new tab or window and show you the student's view of the Choices 360 website.
