Help Build

There are many ways to get involved with Habitat for Humanity in Guadalupe County.

Building homes is the heart of Habitat. No previous experience is necessary to help build the home. Each build project will have an experienced leader to instruct volunteers with all the tools and safety equipment necessary. We have opportunities on the build site on Thursday and Saturday.

Help Feed the Crew: Your group or organization can help feed the hungry volunteers on build site days. You can provide lunch to our volunteers that will include the food, beverages and paper products for approximately 20 volunteers on any scheduled build day. Providing lunch allows for a break in the work, fellowship in meeting new people, while helping build community strength along others who give of their time. We welcome individual volunteers as well as group volunteers.

Site Volunteers: If one is not able to assist on a construction build site there are other opportunities to volunteer at the site. A volunteer host can help in organizing the sign in, lunch coordination and other items that may need attention without having to work in the construction of the home.
