Since 1968, the University of Wisconsin-Parkside has been transforming lives. Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design
As an accredited, independent, nonprofit college, the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) is Wisconsin’s leader in art, design and technology. Mount Mary University Mount Mary University is an urban Catholic university committed to social justice and the development of the whole person. Founded in 1913 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, it is the first four-year, degree-granting Catholic institution for women in Wisconsin. Carroll University was incorporated in 1846, making it Wisconsin’s first four-year institution of higher learning. University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Founded in 1956, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee provides an affordable, world-class education to 25,000 students from 83 countries. Its 15 schools and colleges include Wisconsin’s only schools of architecture, freshwater sciences, and public health. Milwaukee Area Technical College Wisconsin’s largest technical college and one of the most diverse two-year institutions in the Midwest, Milwaukee Area Technical College is a key driver of southeastern Wisconsin’s economy and has provided innovative education in the region since 1912. Nearly 35,000 students per year attend the college’s four campuses and community-based sites or learn online. MATC offers affordable and accessible education and training opportunities that empower and transform lives in the community.
