Everyone in the class woke up early to get on the coach bus for the hour‑long drive to Jervis Bay. When we arrived, we had a few minutes to explore the small local shops before boarding the boat for our dolphin‑watching tour. Once we reached the dock, the captain welcomed us aboard and explained the rules and safety procedures. The boat ride lasted about two hours, and we were lucky enough to see several dolphins swimming near us. The experience was exciting, relaxing, and something I think we all enjoyed very much.

After the dolphin cruise, we had lunch at Huckinson’s Restaurant, where we were able to sit together, talk, and enjoy a warm meal after the windy boat ride. Once lunch wrapped up, we headed to Hyams Beach, known for having some of the whitest sand in the world and incredibly clear water. Although we did see the famous white sand, recent storms had washed in maroon‑colored seaweed, and the waves looked dark and heavy. Even with the unusual conditions, it was still beautiful to see and a memorable stop on our trip.

Our coach bus brought us back to TAFE for host pickup. Addyson, Katelin, and I decided to go downtown Wollongong for a nice walk and to explore the area a bit more. Later, my host mom drove Addyson and me to Wollongong again, where she treated us to Vietnamese cuisine for dinner. After eating, we headed back home to Shellharbour and settled in for the night, ending a full and exciting day.
