We have had a fantastic half term at Brunswick Park. Our value for the half term, kindness, has been shining brightly! I have been incredibly impressed by the kindness that I have witnessed every day - this has also been commented on by guests who have visited us over the past 6 weeks.
Well done to all our wonderful Brunswick Park children.
I wish you a brilliant half term and look forward to seeing you on Monday 3rd June.
Reminder
Children must not be left in the playground by themselves. Parents and carers must remain with their children until 8.50am when the bells goes.
This week
This week, 5HS visited the Bhaktivedanta Manor to learn all about Hindu beliefs as this half term they have been learning all about Hinduism. They were lucky enough to try some delicious traditional food.
Year 1 visited the Cockfosters and North Southgate Synagogue. They learned that the Synagogue is the place where Jewish people pray. The Rabbi showed them the Torah where he reads from for everybody to hear. They saw a big menorah which Jewish people light during Chanukah. The Rabbi spoke to Year 1 about Shabbat. Jewish people celebrate Shabbat every week and eat delicious food, and spend time with their family.
World Ocean Day
Our catering staff will be celebrating World Ocean Day on Friday 7th June 2024 (actual World Ocean Day is on Saturday 8th June this year). Please see the menu which is the normal Friday menu but with some added extras.
