Mr. Schappert is excited to be joining the Sports Academy this fall. He has an Education degree and has been involved in sports throughout his life, both as an athlete and a coach. He has played hockey, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, pickleball, and golf, giving him experience across a wide variety of sports.

Mr. Schappert has coached hockey, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and baseball, and has also taught golf. Through his experiences as both an athlete and coach, he has developed a strong passion for helping young athletes improve their skills, build confidence, and understand the importance of teamwork, effort, and a positive attitude.

Outside of school and sports, Mr. Schappert loves spending time outdoors, especially camping and hiking. He is also an avid golfer and enjoys finding any opportunity to get out on the golf course. He lives in Yorkton with his wife, Tracy, and their two children, Myla and Macklin.

Mr. Schappert is looking forward to bringing his passion for sports and the outdoors to the Sports Academy and helping students develop as athletes while creating a positive, competitive, and enjoyable environment.
