Welcome Back! Our hallways were filled with smiles, laughter, and summer stories this week! Thank you to everyone who joined us for Meet the Teacher night—it was wonderful to connect with so many families.

🏆 RMS Athletics Tryouts Students can sign up outside Mr. Barr's office. All dates are also posted on the RMS Athletics Calendar on our website!

👟 Cross Country: Sept 1 (2:45 – 3:30 PM)
🏐 Catch Volleyball: Sept 9 & 16 (2:45 – 4:00 PM)

Grades 7 to 9

🏐 Boys Volleyball: Aug 31 & Sept 3 (2:45 – 4:15 PM)
🏐 Girls Volleyball: Sept 1, 2, & 8 (2:45 – 4:00 PM)
👟 Cross Country: Sept 1 (2:45 – 3:30 PM)

💻 Action Items on PowerSchool Please log into your PowerSchool portal to complete the following:

📝 Community Activities Form: Allows participation in off-campus events (Terry Fox Walk, skating, etc.).
🥪 Leaving School Property at Lunch Form: Required if your child will be going home for lunch.
💳 School Fees: Please review and settle course fees (CTF, technology, etc.) by September 10, 2026

TERRY FOX WALK

Robina Baker, Riverview Middle, and John Maland are coming together for our Terry Fox Walk on Friday, September 25 in the afternoon.

Emergency Response

Over the course of the year, we will begin practicing our Emergency Response protocols. All schools across the Black Gold School Division participate in the same protocols and it is important that we practice these throughout the year so our school community is ready to respond should we need to.
