G-Talks are parent/guardian-student-counselor conferences that focus on each student's educational and career development and plans for their future. These conferences take place in 5th, 8th, and 10th grade to continue to address individualized goals. Conferences are designed to look at the future of students as they transition to middle school, high school and eventually life after high school.
The purpose of these conferences is to help each student understand their own strengths and future plans. During the 5th grade G-Talk, students share information with you from their completed Learner Resume, review academic and co-curricular activities available and ask any questions about middle school. G-Talk conferences are a great time to celebrate each student and focus on the positive!
For the 2019-2020 school year Rockfield G-Talk conferences will be held in either an individual or group setting. Conferences typically last approximately 45 minutes and take place during the school day with some before and after school availability.
